Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. Have any art requests or art trades they would like to do?

I honestly have the whole damn summer to sit and do nothing and I haven't been drawing as much since school ended. I want to practice, so I was wondering if anyone had anything they'd like to see?

My drawing skills are catered more towards people but drawing monsters and stuff isn't beyond me. It will also most likely just be a clean sketch but I can put flat colors and even try to color it completely if you wish.

So if you have any characters from shows/movies/games or even your OCs feel free to send a request or offer a trade.

I work fairly slowly and if I'm not happy with the image I will start over and try again, so it might take a little while.

Any takers?

Slowly rotting away in a pit of apathy, mostly. Been out of high school four years now, had one job for like three months before they let me go (it was a temp thing anyway).

Also in that four years, I've met a wonderful woman online (you remember Gizmodian? RPed with us in that Final Fantasy XII RP we tried. Yeah, her.

), visited her twice so far, and might finally have the motivation I need to do something with myself, since she and I will have no future if I don't get off my ass and work for what I want. After all, one does not move several states away on the power of love alone. That shit takes money. And money means a job.

Other than that. Roleplay forum I started is down to three active members including myself. Still hugely into Magic: The Gathering. Still playing video games. Bought a decent computer.

So in short, everything's been fairly depressing. XD
